I'm a humuhumunukunukuapua'a! My family has been living in the coral reefs that surround the Hawaiian Islands for many, many years. We are Hawaii's State Fish!
My family name humuhumunukunukuapua'a means "to have a snout like a pig". I also sometimes make grunting sounds that sound a little like a pig (or pua'a), when I am searching for food on the reef.
