Congratulations to the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force West, which has been selected as the State of Hawaii Department of Transportation, Highways Division, Oahu District’s Fourth Quarter 2016 Adopt-A-Highway Champions!

The Joint Inter-Agency Task Force West route for the Adopt-A-Highway program is on Farrington Highway from the Kapalaau Bridge to Ku Place.

“Even though our Adopt-a-Highway program is still in its infancy, we’ve already conducted three clean ups so far and we’re planning on doing another one in January,” said Casey Wagner of the Joint Inter-Agency Task Force West. “We working to build a bigger support base so we can make an even bigger impact in our community.”

Special thanks to the volunteers at Joint Inter-Agency Task Force West for their efforts in helping prevent trash from entering our storm drains and polluting our waters. We are proud to recognize their commitment to the Adopt-A-Highway program!
